Welcome to Room 4's Solar System!

In Room 4, we have been learning about the Space. We have been learning about the planets in our Solar System. We talked about the different things that are on the planets. We made a brainstorm about what our planets could look like.

Skip Counting

LI: I am learning to skip count to 100 in 2's, 5's and 10's.

Aiden: It is easy to count up in 10's. My favourite number to count up in is 8's.

Character Feelings

LI: I am learning to understand a character's feelings in the text.

Aiden: I think he feels happy and sad sometimes.

Library Reading

LI: I am learning to use capital letters in the right place.

Aiden: I put capital letters at the start of my sentence.

Rhyming words

LI: I am learning about rhyming words

"I can say rhyming words - fun, nun, stun."

LI: I am learning to illustrate a story that I wrote using Kidpix

"I can choose the background. I put polar bears in my illustration."

Adding numbers together

LI: I am learning to add two numbers together up to 20

"I can do this puzzle, I find two numbers to make 10. 

7 cars and 3 cars make 10 cars!".

I am learning to draw a self portrait and add detail to it.
